Take time for God through Spiritual Direction, Imaginative Reading of Scripture, and Listening Prayer

Relationship with the God who made us, knows us, has a plan for our lives, loves us in our mess and brokenness, and redeems our mistakes and failures is what matters most in life. So taking time with Him is worth the effort!

Take time for God, rest with Him, and hear His invitations to you

Spiritual direction helps you make time for God

Spiritual direction provides a space for people to grow in relationship with Christ, to sort out their thoughts and questions about faith or religion, and to begin to feel understood. It is also a place for those who are busy ministering to others to be heard, respected, and reminded of God's love. As we talk together, we look for how God is working through daily life and through times of Scripture, silence, stillness, and listening prayer.

  • I was trained in spiritual direction that is Biblical, trinitarian, and contemplative through the Selah Certificate program with Leadership Transformations, Inc. and completed an additional training in Developmental Soul Care. I also have a BA in Psychology from Wheaton College and a Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I spend much of my time connecting with women of different ages, races, and life situations through spiritual direction, Bible studies, and church women’s ministry. I have been shaped by a racially diverse culture and seek to always listen with an open heart and mind, knowing that each individual’s experience with God is their own. My spiritual direction practice is focused on women and I intentionally hold space for the unique cultural perspectives each woman brings. I love to see how God works in the ordinariness of day to day life as well as in the big questions.

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Matthew 11:28-30
